AI Diva — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Mellivo OÜ ("we", "us", "AI Diva", operating the "Mellivo" / mellivoai.com service) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data in the AI Diva mobile application (the "App").

AI Diva is intended for users aged 13 or over. It creates personalised songs — lyrics, music and cover artwork — from details you type in, and lets you share them. The App is not directed to children under 13 and may not be used by anyone under 13. If you are below the age at which you can consent to the processing of your own data in your country, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

1. Data We Collect

Data you provide:

  • Account data: email address, display name, and sign-in method. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication.
  • Song inputs: the details you type in to generate a song — names, the occasion, memories, and any free text you add. Please note that these details often describe other people; see "Details about other people" below.
  • Invite and referral codes: if you invite someone or redeem an invite code, we record that the referral took place so we can add the resulting credits to both accounts.

Data collected automatically:

  • Usage and device data: in-app events (Google Analytics for Firebase), device type, operating system, language, approximate usage statistics.
  • Push token: a device token (FCM) so we can tell you when a song is ready, if you enable notifications.
  • Log and diagnostic data: crash and error reports (Firebase Crashlytics), IP address, server logs (for security and debugging).
  • Advertising identifiers: none are collected today. Once advertising is introduced, they will be used to show ads (see Advertising).

Payments: credit packs are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and the store receipt is verified by our own server. We do not see or store your card or payment details; we only receive the purchase status (a store transaction id) so we can add the credits you bought.

2. How We Use Data

  • To provide the App: write personalised lyrics, generate the music and the cover artwork, and produce a shareable video where you ask for one.
  • To store and deliver the songs you create.
  • To send notifications (e.g., when a song is ready).
  • To manage your credit balance, purchases and referral credits.
  • To improve the App, fix bugs, and ensure security and prevent abuse.
  • Once advertising is introduced, to display ads.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it, to the extent necessary to run the service, with the following service providers:

  • OpenAI — the song details you provide are processed to write the lyrics and generate the cover artwork.
  • Suno — the lyrics and musical direction are processed to produce the song itself.
  • Google Firebase — authentication, push notifications, analytics and crash reporting.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting and file storage for your songs, lyrics and cover images. Servers in the European Union (Stockholm).
  • Apple / Google — in-app purchase processing.
  • Google AdMob — advertising, once advertising is introduced (advertising identifiers). AdMob may collect, process and share personal data for advertising purposes. No advertising SDK is integrated today.

OpenAI's and Suno's handling of the data we send them is governed by their own terms. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Sharing a Song

When you share a song, we create a link that lets anyone holding that link play the song without signing in — this is what makes a song shareable by message or on social media. Treat the link as public: share it only with the people you intend to reach. The same applies to a song you export as a video.

Deleting a song in the App also disables its share link.

5. Details About Other People

A personalised song is usually about someone else — a partner, a friend, a colleague, a family member. When you enter their name or details about them, you are providing us with another person's personal data, and you confirm you may reasonably do so. Please keep those details to what is needed for the song, and do not enter special-category information (such as health, religious or political details) about anyone.

6. International Transfers

Your data may be processed and stored in countries where our providers operate (e.g., the EU and the US). We apply appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses).

7. Retention

  • Account data: while your account is active.
  • Songs, lyrics and cover images: until you delete them, or until you delete your account.
  • Purchase and credit records: as required for accounting and to resolve disputes.
  • Diagnostic logs: for a limited period, for security and debugging.

You can delete an individual song at any time in the App. Deleting your account removes your songs and personal data permanently, within a reasonable period and subject to legal retention requirements.

8. Your Rights (GDPR / KVKK and similar)

You may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, port your data, and withdraw consent.

  • You can delete individual songs, and your whole account, from within the App.
  • For other requests: studio@mellivoai.com.

9. Children's Privacy

AI Diva has a minimum age of 13. The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 13 to create an account or use the App.

In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the age at which a person may consent to the processing of their own data is set by each country and lies between 13 and 16. If you are below that age where you live, you may use the App only with the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for your use of the App.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a person under 13 has created an account or provided data to us, contact us at studio@mellivoai.com and we will delete the account and the associated data.

10. Advertising

We do not show advertising in AI Diva today, and no advertising SDK is currently integrated. We will update this Policy before any advertising is switched on.

When advertising is introduced, ads will be delivered by Google AdMob, which acts as an independent controller of the data it collects (see how Google uses data from sites and apps that use its services). AdMob may collect, process and share personal data — such as device and advertising identifiers, and app interaction data — for advertising purposes, including personalized advertising and measurement.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalized advertising and any related data sharing takes place, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time from the in-app privacy settings. If you are a resident of California or another US state with applicable privacy laws, you may opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information from the same settings. You can also limit ad personalization in your device settings.

Advertising is never personalized using your song inputs, lyrics or generated songs — none of these are shared with advertising partners.

11. Security

We protect data in transit with TLS/HTTPS and at rest with encrypted storage and access controls. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. For material changes we will notify you in the App or by email. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision.
